The LaVerne Christie Trio, a Las Vegas guitar-upright bass-drums group, will perform live jazz music for YOU - our very special Awards Night guests - out on the Monet Ballroom's Veranda prior to our award presentations. Enjoy tunes from Great American Songbook composers like Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart and Duke Ellington as well as sounds of Brazil.
Guitarist LaVerne Christie has played everything from solor to combo to vocal accompanist to big band in Minneapolis/St. Paul and the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Las Vegas. Drummer Mike Candito's vast array of accomplishments include stints with George Benson and Roberta Flack. Mike tours with 60s and 70s pop rock icon Gary Puckett (Union Gap). Bassist/cellist Mark Ruben has extensive credits in local musical theater including Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcot and West Side Story.

RBA's Awards Night event is open to IBIE attendees. Tickets are sponsored by 
the California Raisin Marketing Board at a very special price of $38 per person. Thereafter, ticket price increases to $75 per person. A minimal processing fee will be added to the price of each ticket. Available tickets will be sold at the RBA Booth in the Las Vegas Convention Center during IBIE exhibit hall hours through Tuesday, September 28, 12:00 p.m. PST.
